I applied online and heard back from a recruiter days later to schedule an interview. The interview process was very straight forward with the first two rounds consisting of a 30-minute phone call where they ask you behavioral questions and your experiences.
A few days later, I was invited onsite and that consists of a tour, scheduling activity, and 5 interviews each lasting about 30 minutes each. This is where Red Ventures began to waste my time. Days past and they reach out to me to see if I could interview with the manager of a potential recruiting team who I did not previously meet. Still interested, I agreed and set up a time with the manager and others on her team.
Before I could hear back from the manager I was contacted by another employee at the company about a recent opening in a different department of the company. Following my passion, I decided to look into that role and I had to come back a second onsite. This time, those interviewing me did not seem as engaged and I did not feel as comfortable as I did as many of the other interviewers. For the first time, I thought that maybe the "great culture" that the company advertises is a sham.
About a week later, I was informed that I was not selected for the position. I was not upset, but I felt like the company wasted my time since I dedicated time to drive three hours twice. Additionally, diversity is an issue at the company and I did not see any coordinated effort to have more representation. Red Ventures is not a bad company, but at the same time, they are not what they advertise themselves to be as well.
Especially after seeing how they sent a nasty email to a friend of mine who decided not to work for them after he had a change of heart about his career path.

Interview had two steps, first one was a phone interview then second was a group interview via zoom with six members of the team, the recruiting coordinator does an simple assessment. All six people asked the same questions, the interview lasted 3 hours which is ridiculous. They got back to me after one week.

Senior Recruiter reached out to me to schedule an initial phone screen. I thought that it went well and was excited to move onto the next stage of the interview process. He said in the interview they would love to move me on and soon after I received an email requesting an additional interview, which would be a Zoom call. This interview was with just a Corporate Recruiter. The day of, at the time of the interview, I was waiting on Zoom and the interviewer was not there. A couple of minutes later I received a phone call from this Recruiter and she ended up saying she didn't know it was via Zoom. We had a conversation, but she was not personable at all and honestly not that great at her job. It was hard for me to feel comfortable with her and seemed like she just wanted to ask me questions and get on to her next task. I ended up receiving an email about a week later stating that I was not moving forward and when I requested feedback, I did not receive a response. I do know other people that work for RV and enjoy it. Unfortunately I just did not have a great interview with this particular recruiter.
