I had applied online and heard back from their Talent and Acquisition specialist in less than a week. It was a brief chat about my experience, interests and the current openings at Red Hat. They informed me that this will be an expedited interview process as I had only recently, successfully cleared the interviews for a similar role based in a different city. However, My first interview was scheduled after 3 weeks. It ran for 30-40 mins and was all right. The second interview was on-site with the hiring manager. It was originally for an hour but ran for over 90 minutes. I considered that as a good sign and was given positive feedback given by the interviewer, towards the end of it, Something I quite liked about all their interviews. They like to keep things open and transparent. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about their talent team. I didn't hear back from the talent specialist for over 2 weeks. I got a call back after I sent an email enquiring about the feedback. HR told me that things are looking good and asked some questions about my salary expectations (seemed strange, as I had discussed this in the our first call) and was informed that I should hear back in few days for the next steps. The HR was a no show at the next telephonic meeting that they had scheduled and has been uncontactable since. I am terribly disappointed at this delay and the sheer lack of professionalism and disregard shown for my time. It is not something you'd expect from a company of this size!
