Recruiters and HR people who read this thread: Please realise that the use of video recording of impersonal interview products like HireVue is costing you good candidates. The whole process feels unnatural and not being able to ask questions or get an overall feel for the company isn't fair to the applicant.
Personally I am very uncomfortable with Redbull using Hirevue to screen candidates. The fact they are collecting processing and storing my biometric data, Redbull is just subjecting candidates to a whole other ecosystem of cybersecurity risks.
For context, Epic filed a complaint with the FTC about Hirevue's deceptive trade practices. Nobody knows where those super-secret algorithms are coming from. If HireVue are using candidate data to improve their algorithms which they are marketing... they are monetizing your data. Ick.
If Redbull hiring manager has so little time to perform proper human screen after the passing the initial ATS screen then I know what kind of company you are.
