I was sent a long “personality profile” after applying, this was created by Red Bull. A person from the company reached out to me to do a Microsoft Teams interview. I provided availability and was scheduled, the person showed up late then asked prepared questions in which the answers were present on my resume, then asked if I drink Red Bull, followed the sports side, or media. The representative spent most of the time telling me about the company, free lunches, and team size. I asked questions that were specific to the job and the person did not have many answers, often deferring to “great question for hiring manager”, frequently. I was told that they would reach out to me later in the week about next steps. I waited 7 days when not hearing anything and contacted the person, they responded and said: “the hiring team has decided to pursue two other candidates for a final interview today. If something does not pan out from those, I can certainly circle back. I appreciate your patience throughout the process.” I then replied asking for feedback but got no reply; the person did send out an automatic rejection the next day. This was a poor candidate experience, if the person has too much on their plate, I get it, however there is no excuse for not keeping track of who l is in process and messaging them in a timely manner.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Are you a drinker of Red Bull or fan on the sports side.
Had to complete a personality assessment, phone screen with a recruiter, and then an interview with the hiring manager. Was informed the next step would be a presentation in person for the top two candidates, but was not moved forward. Recruiter was late to my interview and double booked the hiring manager interview so it required a lot of follow up on my part to reschedule.

It was the worse interview experience I've had so far in my career. Not because it was hard, but the recruiter started the interview complaining about candidates requesting "ridiculous high salaries" "thinking they are extremally good because they come from big corporations that laid them off, I'm sorry but not here". He didnt smile once during our video interview, didnt seem genuinely interested in what I was saying; which led me to be grateful I received a rejection email; as I was not interested to work for a company that keeps the employees unhappy or has recruiters who scare applicants. This was with me who work with recruitment and I understand we have good days and bad days, but we should never let the customer/candidates know this on an interview. I am a recruiter myself and I've learned that as bad as the candidate is during the interview, we need to make them feel that what they are saying is important to us, after all, WE contacted them to schedule the interview correct? My last notes are, the recruiter didn't allow time for me to ask questions as he had many other interviews and was behind schedule. RedBull should work better on hiring/training recruiters.
