      Entretien

I got referred to this role from another RB employee in their Dubai office. First I received an email from their HR saying I got referred and followed by two questions to be answered over email. First question was "What is your motivation to this role?", and the second question was "Why do you think you're relevant to this role?" I answered and sent back. The HR contacted me with another email, without hi, hello or any salutation or any signature, phone number in the email "Are you currently working or not?" For a person who has already seen my resume, and my answer to the question for relevancy, I mentioned my status already. So I really did not understand this question, but my personal feeling about the HR already became more negative. Then I got an email asking my availability for a skype interview with a global head of digital marketing, and the current person doing this job for another region. HR confirmed availibilities and gave me a day and time. I waited maybe an hour, as no one showed up, I contacted HR through email (HR never shared a phone number in the signature) and did not get a response. I got an email hours later that the global head is busy so it will be another day. I got confirmed for another day, I waited an hour and a half, not believing that I have been stood up the second time. And again, no show. I emailed the HR. No response. I e-mailed HR a week apart, asking for an update and honestly a proper apology or feedback. I got an e-mail response saying I have not been considered for the job as I do not have enough success stories in my career. I felt lost, as we never spoke on the phone, no interview took place and HR decided that I was not successful. My friend who was RB employee at that moment checked with the HR in person, and turns out HR sent me that e-mail by mistake, which was meant for another employee. For me it was already over. From start to end(?) entirely the most unprofessional company I've ever interviewed. They are looking for game changers, I think they should start monitoring their HR, who are a company's first front facing a candidate.
