      Disorganised and arrogant would be the two key words that describe this interview process - and both are warning signs for anyone who wants to work for a company where you want culture and basic values to be considered paramount. There were many red flags across this engagement. Firstly, basic communication from company to candidate was poor - for me, this is always a warning sign - this is a company that doesn't value the time or effort of potential employees. Secondly, the managers involved in the interview process clearly hadn't read my CV or given any thought to questions that were in any way aligned to the job ad - again, it was a major warning sign for me that when I was addressing key points of the job ad, that the interviewing manager was either ignorant or dismissive of their relevance. There was also this underlying "vibe" being given off that the interviewing manager felt this type of task was below him - speaking candidly, the person needs to put their phone down and actually look into the camera when asking questions or listening to answers. I've listened back to a recording of a key interview, and on 9 occasions I had to start a response with "As I noted earlier..." this was not an interviewing manager who was in any way participating in the interview. Finally, the overall ethics of this company were questionable - there were additional actions and warning signs that in hindsight allow me to be satisfied that I didn't progress - I value integrity, and basic human decency really highly, I'm not sure this company does.
