I had a great time with Ramp's technical interview. They skipped the typical leetcode problems and instead gave me a practical web-crawling challenge that actually related to real work. The coding session felt relevant and let me show actual engineering skills rather than memorized algorithms. It was refreshing to work on something that seemed like it could be part of their actual product.
The interview process takes forever.
Recruiters or HR ghost you after the initial call. No update whatsoever.
So I guess nothings really fast as they say. Slow hiring process.
I had given initial technical round many times and it’s difficult to get the response

Applied online, recruiter call, followed by a coding and system design interview. Everyone I talked to was great and generally I would rate the overall experience positive. The reason I gave it a neutral is because I just got a simple email instead of a phone call letting me know that I didn't get the job because they filled the role. May be personal preference but when I've done a loop I expect to get a phone call.
