      Entretien

The interview process is, in my opinion, needlessly burdensome for both the candidates and the hiring team. The initial screening with the recruiter is a high-level 30 minute overview of your experience. The second interview is a 45 minute interview with the hiring manager that covers your previous experience and may include scenario questions. The third interview is a 60 minute business case study presentation with a panel of three. The recruiter that I was working with changed at least twice throughout the process; however, all were clear that the interview process also includes a fourth interview with cross-functional stakeholders and potentially a fifth interview with the hiring manager. The role advertised is an entry-level individual contributor role. The interview process for these roles shouldn't be so convoluted and cumbersome. It will needlessly weed out exceptional candidates because they're disillusioned with the process, don't interview well in front of panels, etc. By the time the business case study had been scheduled, I was already disillusioned with the experience and made the decision to opt out of future interviews should they be offered. Though I did do the business case study presentation, I found the process awkward. The panel didn't seem prepared, despite receiving my presentation deck two days previously. I quickly went through my presentation, but the energy of the panel interview was uncomfortable and disconcerting given that it seemed that the panel was unprepared. Aside from that, the hypothetical scenario was simultaneously too detailed in some areas and not detailed enough in others, requiring you to email their team for additional information prior to finishing the presentation.
