Pathetically slow process, the organisation lacks integrity and they absolutely do not value candidate's time. Even if I was offered this job I would have never joined them after the interview experience.
It took around 6 weeks to complete the process:
Coding round: The recruiter gave an easy coding exercise which was solved in 30 min. (though 1 hr. time was given to solve it)
1st Technical Round: Got a call from recruiter after 3 days of coding exercise and 1st round was scheduled for next week, the Technical panel called on time and the interview was kind of easy.
2nd Round: I got feed back within 2 days of 1st interview, then 2nd round was scheduled for next week, but I didn't receive any call on the said time. I mailed recruiter and he rescheduled for next week. This time I got a call and the team manager brought some tech guy with him to take my interview. Manager barely spoke, tech guy was asking pretty standard Java related questions, overall pretty easy interview.
3rd Round: This was supposed to be a director round, got a time slot of 15 days from 2nd round for this interview. Here the 2 Japanese guys (Director and Sr. Manager) Came to take interview. Asked some basic questions about my current project, and why do you want to change. This round lasted 30 min.
I was initially told that this was the final round, but after this the HR told that Director has recommended me for another technical round due to ongoing project considerations. I asked if any of the round's feedback was weak or negative? to which the recruiter said they were all very positive.
4th Tech Round: this was scheduled for next week after the Director round, I never received this call and since I was tired of their process, I never asked back. The most disturbing thing is that despite keeping me involved in their process for nearly 6-7 weeks they didn't even bothered to get back to me with a final feedback. And this is the case when all my interviews went well.
