Interview was difficult and unprofessional. They took 1 telephonic, 1 written and 3 Technical rounds mostly covering Data Structures and Algorithms and Design questions. It went good, all rounds were around 1.5 hours. After that they conducted HR round and she asked about my expectation, I told. She told they can't give this much (even though i made my expectation clear before interview process) and stated if I have to continue I need to lower the expectation. Since i spent entire working day in interview, I thought to go ahead so i reducedand we finally agreed to one sum.
They scheduled VP(India) round post that and again it took around 2 hours, he went deep into my project and data structures and data modelling.
After around 3 days i got call, that i cleared VP (India) round. Then again hiring manager called and asked about my career and details, and unexpectedly started negotiating into agreed salary. I told I already had conversation with HR and we agreed to a sum, he started telling he is her manager and it was not my HR round. He was telling they can't give agreed amount also and if I want to go through VP(Japan) round I need to reduce my expectations further(WTF). I had other offers so he started telling how Rakuten is better among all others and how work in other companies are crap :D (I had offers from well known product, and e-commerce companies).
This time I made my mind this would definitely not be my next employer as I was planning to settle next company for long term. There every employee attitude was as if they are working in Microsoft. After around 6-7 rounds of interview they were telling they can max 30-40% hike in my CTC. Dont make same mistake as me, attend here only if u dont have any interview on same day

Disorganized, no HR reached out to discuss about the administrative details and salary and benefits, the hiring manager reached out directly, scheduled a meeting and asked about HR questions(visa, RTO etc.)
The hiring manager was late for over 5 mins minutes, no apologies, no greetings. Negative experience
The interview covered Python libraries, networking, and my software engineering experience. While questions were basic, they can be tricky for seniors. Review your definitions alongside your past projects to succeed.
