Applied for position online, was contacted the next day to schedule a phone interview with HR. The HR rep was out on vacation, so I waited 10 days to talk with them.
After that 30 min phone call that was just over my background experiences, quickly set-up with a 1:1 interview with the Director. Simple questions about how to handle various management challenges and personal management style. Feed back was provided 2 days after that and was told I would be contacted in a week to schedule in person panel interview. Turns out it was 2 weeks before they scheduled the interview, which was then scheduled 2 weeks after that.
They flew me in for panel interview was 4 x1 hour interviews with 2 or 3 people each. I left at 3:45AM ET, and layovers later my interview was at 12:00PM. I found this odd as there is a direct flight that leaves with no layover, that was cheaper than the flight they booked me on. Met with a total of 9 people. The questions were all pre-selected and there was little deviation, everyone read from a script and it was poorly executed. Group 2 and 3 were reversed, but apparently they were not told this so they asked the same questions. When I advised this they then attempted to go free-form, but still asked the same questions from the script.
HR and the panel advised I would be contacted with the results of the interview in 2 to 5 days. HR did not return any calls or emails, no offer and no letter advising that I was not selected. Very unprofessional behavior for a firm interviewing management candidates. I am glad I was not selected, as this final "silent" treatment is indicative of the company's culture and how they do not truly value people.
