It seems in an effort to clean up your error, you left out a few key points. I was contacted via Indeed, and the recruiting staff member had my indeed contact information, my actual email address, AND my phone number. No effort was made to contact me on either platform, and as a professional you should VERIFY the message was received especially if the last contact was to schedule an interview even if it requires a simple phone call. After selecting a time, that is considered scheduled to MANY candidates as many other companies use the same process AND it was the same process used to confirm the phone screen, without an additional “confirmation” email. That is the exact same way we verified the phone screen, which furthermore proves there was LITTLE effort made to contact. I was not offered an apology. Honesty is always the best policy and over communication is better than none at all.
