J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Quest Diagnostics

First interview was an online recorded interview that took around 30 minutes with some recorded responses and games to assess skills. The second interview is what I want to discuss. This interview was supposed to be a 15 minute phone interview. On the day of my 15 minute phone interview, I never actually received a call. They were hours late to the interview and I eventually had to call them and wait on their hold line to talk to anyone about what happened. They stated it was "technical difficulties" and gave no other information as to why they were so drastically late. I rescheduled the interview for another time. They then called me 6 hours after the interview asking if I was still available to have the interview. The rescheduled interview occurred on time but, this "interview" was actually a pre-interview screening which is not what they stated when communicating with me about scheduling it. The lack of communication, inability to properly schedule their own phone calls, and misinformation about what exactly the interview would be shows a deep level of disrespect for their applicants and I would not recommend working for this company.

It was pretty quick. I applied sunday night and got a call wednesday. I did the interview the next tuesday and got hired the next day. My interviewer was honest with me about the role which made the interview feel like a conversation instead of a formal job interview.

The interview process moved in clear stages. I applied in November and was contacted by a recruiter in December for a phone screening. I completed a final interview with the supervisor in January. The interview focused on my lab experience, specimen handling, and adherence to procedures. The supervisor also asked detailed questions about my college program to see how it aligned with the role. After the interview, my application went into review for several weeks before a final decision was made. Although I was not selected, the process was structured and straightforward.
