      Interview process was standard but.... Company likes to exploit employees. Treats unfairly. I am a California resident in the Bay Area. Expected me to make a move up to Seattle. All I asked for was some form of security in the written offer letter that I would be given "90 day notice in the event of any layoffs". As a candidate relocating, this is more than reasonable to ask for. Qualtrics response: Offer/candidacy was rescinded. My advice: stay away form this shady company.

      I had high hopes in the beginning.. It started off great with a recruiter reaching out via Linkedin. The initial conversations went great, was looped into the process and speaking with another recruiter the following week. They sent over an email with what you may be asked with a breakdown of each person i'd be speaking with. I went through the interview process speaking with 5 different Directors/VPs individually. After my interviews i was told someone will reach out to me within the next week, great! Now this is where the experience went all downhill.. After a week i was told someone will get back to me. So i was patient and waited.. almost 2 weeks later i followed up. Get another generic answer that someone will get back to me. A week later i get an email asking to setup time to speak.. I respond with dates/times then i am ghosted for 2 more weeks. I once again had to reach out.. Once i did, i get an answer that my offer is in review with the hiring committee and should hear back within a week. Im thinking this is great! Well turns out i was ghosted once again... This process started in June and all of a sudden i get another email from the same recruiter in October asking if i was still interested in the role.. I received zero communication on the initial decision, not even an "oh we are still working on it and will keep you informed or that we have decided to go with another candidate".. I believe in second chances so i decided to respond with dates/times as i wanted to hear what the recruiter had to say. Well that's out the window now as again is going on 2+ weeks since i responded with my availability.. Advice: Respect people's time and close the loop with your candidates. Don't leave them out to dry as majority of them will have other interviews occurring, offers, etc. waiting in the balance.
