It started with a couple of phone screens with their internal recruitment personnel, followed by three video calls with technical folks where some technical questions were covered. It finally culminated in an on-site where I spoke with a variety of people from across the company. A few were in engineering and asked technical questions, but some were from sales and management. Overall I think they look for a good cultural fit as much as technical proficiency. Despite Provo's reputation (deserved or not), I never got the impression that religious affiliation would be an issue there. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but they're a very serious, growing company. The office is a bit over the top with start-up trappings, but if you want to do the tech thing and mountain bike at lunch it's about as good as it gets.
