Recruiter call, interview w/ CEO, then follow up with other leaders. The interview was halted part way through before it could be completed. Despite having a positive experience with the CEO, I did not hear anything for over a week. Ultimately, as I anticipated, they chose to go with another candidate. While it's not ideal to have such a marked gap in communication, it's also not unusual. My assumption is that they were just keeping me warm as they were hoping for a close on another candidate.
