It was easy I got hired on the spot. They do a drug test on site. They swab your mouth. You start working pretty fast. They do not give full time so that is not great. They only give full time hours to people who have worked there a long time. One time I only got 12 hours on the schedule . The next week I worked 5 8 hour shifts. So it wasn’t great at all.
Relaxed one on one interview process. They want to know why want to work at Publix, how you will handle angry customers, and what your weekly shift availbility is. They prioritize candidates who can work busy retail hours, such as weekends, late evenings, and early mornings.
