The questions were all definitional questions. Who does that anymore?! I kept getting hounded with questions like "Define xyz. What is the difference between a, b and c" etc. I don't know why they expect anyone to cram definitions of things rarely encountered in your role as a developer! Total waste of my and their time!

◾What is Inversion of Control? How does that relate to dependency injection?
◾How do the MVP, MVC, and MVVM patterns relate? When are they appropriate?

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Promega (Fitchburg, WI) en mai 2010
Entretien
At the recommendation of a current employee who was a friend, I submitted a resume online. The interviews consisted of a phone screening with HR, a second screening with the non-technical hiring manager, and then in-person interviews with a hiring committee. The committee consisted of the team I would join, the hiring manager, and some other managers that would work closely with the position.
This whole process took several months as there was a long time between each step. The in-person interviews were all in one day, but all together they took about 4 hours.

Question 1
They did not seem to have any "tough" questions and did not insist on performing brain teasers or on-the-fly code examples.
