I interviewed for an analyst role posted online. The process lasted about 6 weeks. There were a lot of interviews - about four, several of which were panels. It was very formal, they love the STAR method. I did well in the interview, but was ultimately not chosen. I was one of the last people to interview due to a conflict on my end - so to be honest, I felt like I was strung along at the end and they knew who they wanted. Everyone was nice and everyone I spoke with has been there for 15+ years. I've worked at large companies and the whole thing just felt a little stingy. And to ask for over four hours of your time just for a no is a bit much - I would have preferred maybe someone to step in if a decision was close on another applicant. After all the applying, I got a boilerplate rejection, which was also a letdown. I don't know. It's a big company, I get it. And for all I know it seems like a solid place to work, but I don't think the process needed to be as dragged out and repetitive as it wound up being. Not difficult, but very tedious.
