They were pushing to get my current salary "to ensure I will be paid fairly". I gave them salary expectations but would not go through without me giving them current salary, even going as far as to say that if I give a figure, they will ask for a payslip if I am hired, and "it will look bad" if I have lied. I immediately asked them to never contact me again. Total waste of time.
