Several stages of phone conversations, online forms and finally few face to face meetings. Lengthy and quite chaotic process. Company tried to keep recruitment agency out of the loop, which put me in bizarre position having to update them on what's going on. I found this unprofessional. Part of the interview was related to solving their current problems, which I did, putting in it huge amount of time and effort. It then turned out, that it's common practice in the company to use candidates to do some real work as part of the interview process and use it in the business. This effectively works like an unpaid consultancy. Surprising salary negotiations, where Privatefly started with 30% lower salary than what recruitment agency briefed me on initially. Finally, job offer contained perks which *never materialised* during my time at the company. Privatefly basically promised things to get me onboard knowing they're not going to deliver. Overall the worst interview experience in my career.
