Interviews were setup relatively quick after applying and I was informed that PostNL likes to act quickly if they feel good about someone. First interview was with the hiring manager and a product owner, which felt good and lead to a quick second interview. Both interviewers seemed very nice and were able to connect on a personal level. Didn’t give me the impression they were a very strong PM organization though, had the feeling they threw around the word agile more than they actually used agile. Second and last interview was with a senior PM and BA (role is named differently in PostNL but seemed very similar). Senior PM didn’t make a very good impression (standard questions, no fillow-up questions or not very interested) and not the kind of PM I’d like to learn from as a non senior (he didn’t seem very knowledgeable on how discovery work is done wnd seemed more like a go getter in a feature team than someone looking to build the best possible product, which seemed in line with my experience from the first interview on how much of a strong PM organization PostNL was. After the second interview, I never heard back even though I was told I’d get feedback within a week. Texted the recruiter, called him 3 times and finally send an email to the hiring managers from the first interview to let them know about my bad experience. In an email reply one of them apologized, informed me that because of overlapping life events like holidays they hadn’t replied (in a period of more than a month). She informed me she would chase the people who were supposed to get back to me for feedback. This is now 3 weeks ago, never heard since.
