      I applied online. The interview process would have been 4 rounds. - HR screening - Second round with two consultants including roleplaying a case study, behavioral questions, background - Third round with two principals where I had to prepare a project plan outlining my approach to a provided case study before the interview - Didn't make it to the final round Behavioral questions were easy to answer if you reviewed your own background and resume beforehand. Technical questions were leading and if you went down the path they were hoping, you would do well. For the written case study that you have to prepare, make sure it is "client-ready". Summarize as much as you can and make it visual vs. outlining your entire approach. Take your time and pretend the deliverable is going to a client versus trying to show how much you know about the project approach and your skills.

      I was contacted by the recruiter after submitting my resume online. I had read in previous previews that they contact you after reviewing your resume and they decide to go another way after, saying you’re not the best fit in terms of experience; although they should’ve figured that out before contacting you. My overall experience was positive. The recruiter said as very knowledgeable and asked very smart questions. In was your average call screening but it was obvious that he knew what he was talking about. Since the issue that I mentioned is a consistent trend among previous reviews, I wish point b would take a closer look at the candidates before contacting them for the initial phone screening. I might be wrong and they might be looking for very specific answers. Just a thought!

      All done over phone or Teams - Denver office has closed per the recruiter. Point B reached out to me cold through LinkedIn to schedule a screening call. I had a short call with a recruiter to discuss background and comp requirements. I did not feel this discussion was taken seriously and had the recruiter been transparent about the role I was being asked to apply for and comp, I would not have moved forward because it was not in alignment with my goals. The role description and comp were not clearly communicated at any point. The recruiter shared a lengthy email outlining that there would be a minimum of three interviews. I was scheduled for a 90-min first round Teams interview later the same week and told to prepare redacted prior client deliverables to review with the interviewer. I elected to end the first-round interview after 15 minutes because the interviewer was impolite and denigrated my past professional experience. I'm not sure if it was just an off-day or if this is pervasive (other reviews have mentioned similar experiences in interviews), but this was certainly a negative experience and that behavior simply does not fly in todays job market. FYI: Comp to experience ratio is extremely below market for my region. 'Consultant' level requires 3-6 years consulting experience and comp is $89,500 – $109,000 in Colorado and "We do not anticipate individuals hired for this role will be at or near the top end of the range" per the Point B website. Highly recommend recruiters send a complete copy of the relevant job description when making outreach.
