I got a call from a consultancy, they were looking for the DevOps engineer for Pitney Bowes. The interviewer of the 1st round was too arrogant, He did not even went through the resume and started asking random questions irrelevant to the position Even my friend had same experience with this company.

Entretien
I was contacted by a consultancy called Ascent for the F2F Interview Process. I went for the Interview to Pitney Bowes Viman Nagar Office in Pune. It took 5 hours to complete 3 rounds. There was a technical round followed by Manger round and HR Round. After the completion of the first day of Interview i was again asked to come to their office again for US Panel technical round. Even though they called to their office, but the interview was telephonic. Felt little awkward since why would some one call to their office in a weekday for a telephonic interview instead of a video-con. Also the USA Panel members didnt had my resume, only knew my name..so i had to give them a complete introduction about myself before starting with the technical interview.
After the completion of the 4th round of Interview , the consultancy never contacted me and avoided my phone calls. Even though the entire process happened inside the Pitney office but the Company HR never came in the picture. I was anticipating a feedback from them so i managed to get the contact details and directly contact one of the hiring person. The Consultancy who was avoiding my calls till now immediately called me back and abused me for contacting Pitney Panel directly. So i got to understand that this was a fake interview process. Again 2 days later the Consultancy send me a conditional offer letter for a sub contract job at Pitney Bowes for some other skill set which i was not even interviewed.
I checked the first mail that the Cosultancy send which clearly mentioned that it was a permanent opening with Pitney.
I have been working with a major fotune 500 company and was at least expecting a feedback from Pitney HRs which is a Industry norm, specially when i had taken 2 days leave to go to their office. It is normal that in a competitive market you can get rejected in any stage of the process but to me the Pitney Bowes Interview process felt very unethical.

On the first day of Interivew i was asked the below questions mainly for the DevOps skill where they were looking for a person with SQL Server DBA and Development skill, Mongo DB Admin skill and AWS.
How would you troubleshoot slow performing queries in SQL Server.
After applying Indexes and updating stats, still app team is complaining that performance is slow. Wht would you do.
What is default port in Mongo DB
How to ipmlement Sharding and Encryption in Mongo DB.
What is self join and inner join in SQL Server etc.
In the US Panel interview was mainly asked questions from SQL Server Development, SSIS, Testing and QA
