The first interview was a 30 minute phone interview with someone from HR. The person I talked to spent 90% of the time going pretty in-depth into the work of Philabundance. While I appreciated getting to know more about the organization, I felt that the interviewer spent too long talking instead of asking me questions and getting to know more about my background and experience.
By the end of the call, there was no opportunity for me to ask any questions. I felt it was ironic that I was updated a few days later saying I was not moving through to the next interview. How did they get enough information to make that decision when I barely spoke during the first round?
