I completed a first-round video interview with HR for the Product Marketing Manager position. There was some initial confusion, as the recruiter wasn’t sure which PMM role I had applied for. He mentioned he would follow up the next day, however no further communication was received. When asked, he confirmed that Phenom uses its own product for hiring. No follow-up was provided, which seemed inconsistent with the company's messaging of using AI to “streamline the hiring process” and “deliver personalized candidate experiences.” Overall, the process was straightforward but less polished than expected, with limited depth or role-specific discussion. Based on my experience, candidates can anticipate a short introductory conversation focused primarily on general background rather than detailed marketing or product-related topics.
