the interview process was very lengthy. First, you get a call from a sourcer, then you were asked to do a case study and present it to the hiring managers, afterwards, you will be asked to meet more future colleagues. The whole process was not pleasant. In some cases you could feel that the Hiring Managers might be less qualified than the job applicants. To make things worse, their HR team has grown this arrogant attitude because obviously, they are a so-called "unicorn" now in Germany, so they think they should have the same bar as Google or Amazon....but pay way less (check the salaries for engineers and you will find out). This attitude is toxic, especially coming from their own Talent Acquisition department when Personio is an HR software company. During the interviews and case studies, the interviewers were trying to look for answers they hoped to hear when they ask you a question and neglected the fact that different people bring fresh views and solutions to the table. So if you are not answering in their favor, you are not going to make the interviews. Last but not least, they would definitely choose someone from a native English-speaking country if you are not from the EU.

Sehr durchschnittliches, aber sehr freundliches Gespräch. Es wurde über Unternehmensziele, Vision etc. gesprochen. Unternehmen mit sämtlichen Benefits wurde ebenfalls vorgestellt. Leider finde ich persönliche die einzelnen Schritte in dem Bewerbungsgesrpäch viel zu umfangreich.
