I applied for the illustration role, and the interview with HR went great. She was super friendly and asked really lovely questions about my field. Later I received an art case to complete and they told me to send the case whenever I wanted since I had school (was my final semester) and work at the same time plus the case they have submitted seriously needed some time to complete. The process took around 5 weeks, I submitted my work and they responded in 1 week, getting a rejection, They said that they have decided to move with better-qualified candidates. I asked for some feedback so I can improve upon my work and apply for the position again and they said they don't have any negative thoughts about my process. I felt like wasting my time and getting my hopes up

Very good learning experience. The process can be long, but it reflects how seriously and professionally each step is handled. As being said feedback from the case study is honest and valuable.
