I have a friend that works for Paychex that knew that I was trying to get out of my previous field of expertise. He told me to put my resume in and tell them he was my referrance. With in a few days of doing so, I got a call from their center in Chicago. I got the aptitude test online and quickly finished it. I called to check on the status of my hiring and found out that I had passed the test with flying colors. A day later I was contacted by another person and was told I have a face-to-face interview on Monday. It has been very easy dealing with the people I have talked to so far and can't wait to be hired after my Monday interview!
Interview process consisted of 2 interviews and one shadowing session. Interview questions were pretty standard STAR structure. I interviewed in person with one supervisor while one other was on a video call.

Very simple. A round table interview with scenario-based questions. They ask mostly about previous interactions with co-workers as well as customers. It is a customer service job and you are dealing with payroll which can get very overwhelming
