      Entretien pour Customer Success Manager

      21 févr. 2018
      Candidat à l'entretien anonyme

      Aucune offre
      Expérience négative

      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez PaySimple (Denver, CO)

      Entretien

I had an initial phone interview with the hiring manager and was asked to come into the office for a panel interview with the manager of the team as well as the HR representative. That interview went well, and I was invited back to interview with the director of customer success. I was given an excel spreadsheet that represented a book of business I might manage and was asked to analyze the data and then present my approach to how I'd manage it. That interview was a Monday afternoon. I got through that interview after a tough round of questioning and was told as I was being walked out they would "be in touch soon." I shared that I was actively interviewing with other companies but PaySimple was my first choice. I had an offer on the table from another company and had asked them to wait a day or two to allow me to consider, all the while I stayed hopeful PaySimple would reach out. A week and a half later, I had heard nothing. I accepted the other offer and wrote an email to the HR rep and the hiring manager from PaySimple to let them know I was no longer available and give them feedback on their lack of communication. The hiring manager responded saying that they were still working to make a decision and I was their top candidate. She continued by saying that my email made it clear I was not a good fit. I responded sharing that allowing a week and a half to go by after a final interview, when you know your candidate is interviewing elsewhere, is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. I came to Glassdoor only to read other candidates sharing their experiences of being "Ghosted" by this company after a promising interview. My advice? Look elsewhere. A company willing to show disrespect at the first stages is not very likely to show respect throughout your career as a paid employee. A hiring manager and HR department not willing to own their mistake or at the very least apologize is not someone i'd ever want to work for.
