- I applied online, recommended by a friend, and in more or less two days I received a phone call. This is the first step of the process, a phone interview, in which actually the interviewer spoke more than me. The interview consisted in general questions about my CV and past experience, plus some little examples.
- Next step consists on a phone language test. Pretty easy. They gave you by phone fake addresses and names, so you have to write them down, and later you're asked questions about that. In my case, the test was in English and Spanish.
- After that, I received an email with an interview appointment. The two team leaders of the Spanish customer care department interviewed me, in a competency based interview (prepare a ton of examples of your previous experiences that may be related with the job). This took around an hour, and it was in Spanish and in English, simultaneously.
-Last step of the process is another language test, this time written. They give you 45 minutes to answer two fake emails (one in Spanish and one in English, in my case) and to write in a few words why do you want to work for PayPal (in Spanish). Don't worry in you can't answer correctly the queries, what they're checking is your language skills.
- After all that, they told me they were going to check and my references and will call me back with the final decision. The next morning, I received a phone call saying me that I wasn't selected.
