      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez PartsSource

      Entretien

This company uses cut rate recruiters who can’t be bothered to schedule interviews with you and force you to use a link to self schedule if you’re interested in the position. The recruiter uses offshore resources to scour LinkedIn for candidates then pass them through via a self-schedule link. I removed myself from the interview process after the initial call. Also, their salaries are not in line with the market or experience of their desired candidates and before you can interview with their actual team, they have their 3rd party recruiters cull the herd by pushing for salary expectations without disclosing the range for the role. It’s the very definition of the bad hiring practices to be wary of that you see plastered all over job and career sites everywhere. For context, I was given a salary range 1/3 lower than my current salary for same role AFTER a 30 minute interview and that salary was also $40k off the National median average for the role on Salary.com and here on Glassdoor. If they want to hire talent across the nation, they need to be prepared to pay that talent accordingly and in line with the market. It would appear, they aren’t interested in hiring experienced people and paying for that experience, but rather putting warm bodies in seats and who ever minimally checks the box as long as they fall within very low salary bands not based on any industry comparatives. The role I interviewed for also required managerial oversight of a small team of 6-8 people. Not once in the interview, was I asked about prior managerial experience or any people leadership questions. I actually felt sorry for the team without meeting them if no one seemed to be looking out for their interests in the screening process. Interview was disorganized and I’ll-prepared. I have over 15 years of industry and managerial experience and can honestly say this was one of the worst candidate experiences I’ve ever had. I hope their internal hiring team monitors these reviews and evaluates their use of 3rd party sourcing and salary ranges. Their reputation in the market could suffer if this is the norm.
