Initial communication was excellent, but it's because I went through a staffing agency. The interview was a two-parter. The first part by the hiring manager, and the second by a more technical person. I answered the questions well and we had a good conversation. The first part lasted about 45 minutes and then the other person came in. We talked and in the middle of it, he gets a text and says he has to go take care of some crisis. I was caught off a little so I asked if I would be seeing the hiring manager again and he said she was the one who texted her. OK...sketchy, but possible. I come to find out that they decided to pass on me because I didn't say the right buzz words. A ridiculous reason if I've ever heard of one. But now I also think they set up the "crisis" to end the interview early. I felt very disrespected, and quite honestly, I'm glad they did not offer me a position if that's how they handle business.
