J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Panda Restaurant Group

      Entretien

i applied online. I then got an email requesting more info. had a few email exchanges with the recruiter and they stopped responding after asking for some info. i didn't lose any sleep he calls back a month later and wants to set up time. he calls and first thing they ask about is if ive read the documents and video he sent a month ago. i did and took me a while to recall them but nothing special as its a list of value that nearly every company cherishes/wants. he tries several times to reschedule the call trying to, albeit graciously, give me time to review it. i wasn't sure if he was going to give me a pop quiz but after further dialogue realized it wasn't some pop quiz and just a bunch of generic questions. HOWEVER what was so weird was that the 800lbs gorilla in the room was i think they were making sure people were ok with LANDMARK. if you google panda and landmark you'll see panda's owners are big advocates and proponents of landmark. you google landmark by itself and many times the word cult comes up. ive never been to a session so can't say but gotta mean something if this is a repeated sentiment over and over again. people could've just stayed quiet right? so all of his awkward probing into if ive read the materials and offering to reschedule the call a few times truly seemed like they wanted to make sure i was aware of LANDMARK. he was just awkward himself overall and acted like panda was gods gift to earth. he turned me off just as much as this passive aggressive push of LANDMARK. either the owners are totally consumed with landmark or financially benefiting from pushing it. i come from a company that is 90x the size of Panda so trust me i'm not really losing any sleep even though i love the brand. maybe when the founders move on ill look at them again. maybe.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

he repeatedly told me 50% or more of the interview process was looking for culture fit aka seeing if you'd be good for landmark basically.
