I came highly recommended for this sales position. I exceed my quota and I am number new accounts salesperson. I had 2 phone interviews that went very well and the recruiter was very nice and responsive. I went in for an interview with 4 people. I was asked how I build my pipeline and what I do in my current job. I asked each person if they would recommend me for the position and they said yes. They said they wanted to hire right away and there were many positions available.
I also asked them how I stack up against other candidates. He said “well we get a lot of type A personalities and younger applicants.” I am not super young and I am not Type A, so that was obvious. I wrote thank you notes to each one and never heard back for over a week. I contacted the recruiter and he said that I needed more closing experience and they already hired someone. I was very confused as I have been in sales for 7 years and close everyday. I wrote back indicating that I had a lot of closing experience. I then got an email where the recruiter said he made a huge mistake and they had found a “stronger candidate”. I asked for feedback as I always want to improve my interview skills and would like to know why I did not get the job as I am very qualified and do the same job today. I did not get any feedback. I found this to be very unprofessional and odd.

Long process, but mostly very nice people. Tok quite som time to get a respond and the whole process took about three months. Everything was remote. Did not get the job in the end.

Entretien
The interview process was notably protracted, thorough, and rigorous. While I appreciated the opportunity to progress seamlessly through the stages until the final round, I was disappointed to learn of the outcome without prior notice, especially regarding the selection of another candidate with whom I was in contention. Throughout the process, I found myself frequently seeking updates, and the absence of even an automated notification was regrettable.
