Turns out this interview was a fraud attempt. There are fraudsters out there that will contact you as a legitimate company. They asked me to download skype on my phone as a chat. They'll ask interview questions such as -What other companies are you interviewing with -What qualities do you look for in a boss -What motivates you to do your best on the job -Clerical words per minute While they were legitimate interview questions, it got weird when they told me they were emailing me a check to deposit for equipment. My bank called me to let me know that this was a fraud. Although I did not give my SSN to this company (usually you don't until they have you fill out direct deposit paperwork to which they never sent me) they make it look like after they keep trying to contact you, that you stole equipment from them. Luckily my bank was aware of these types of scams and notified me.
