J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez PNC Financial Services Group (Delray Beach, FL) en déc. 2011

      Entretien

I started the process by receiving an internal referral from a Financial Sales Consultant at a local branch. The hiring process consisted of one group interview and two 1:1 interviews. Group interview was with the HR recruiter and two of the hiring mgrs and consisted of basic questions like accomplishments and customer service. However, right off the bat, the interviewer will ask if anyone would like to share some facts they learned about PNC as a company. The way he presents the question is for a voluntary response, but make sure you volunteer and give some facts. You will immediately stand out from the group, especially if you are the only one to answer, and this is critical. I then went on to a 1:1 with the hiring mgr and teller supervisor. This one was a little longer and contained mostly questions regarding work experience in your most recent job and recalling particular situations with clients at your job. The final interview was 1:1 with the Vice President of Sales and Service Support for the region. This was more of a personal conversation regarding my current job, interest in a career with PNC, being comfortable with selling, etc. After my final interview, the recruiter told me they would have a decision by the following Monday. He called promptly on Monday morning and extended an offer. Pre-employment was standard: Drug screen within 72 hours of offer, fingerprinting within 7 days, background and credit checks, etc. Overall, I really enjoyed the process. The HR recruiter, hiring mgr, and VP were all very friendly and supportive of my efforts. Communication during the process was fantastic and they don't leave you guessing. The questions were all pertinent to the position and there weren’t any curveballs. Mostly questions related to cash handling, following procedures, and client relations.

It was great. The managers computer was down so she pulled out a notebook and wrote down things and questions and was super attentive it felt great. From start to finish it was a great and very smooth process. Made things not so nerve wracking and super easy.

I applied online and submitted my friend as a reference. I heard from a recruiter the same week. We had a brief phone interview about my past experience, and the recruiter helped me schedule an in-person interview. I met with the assistant branch manager and head teller of the bank. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. It was very relaxed, no pressure. We briefly went over my experience and they had a few questions for me. I was offered the job within the same week, and I started training two weeks afterwards.

I applied online at PNC careers website and was contacted the next day by a recruiter. The recruiter asked me basic questions about my resume and then asked me to complete an assessment test. Once the assessment test was done, I was contacted to set up a phone interview with the recruiter. Had the phone interview in which they asked questions about my resume and scenario question related to customer service and working in a team. The recruiter was very nice and engaged with me and once the phone interview was over she proceeded to set up a 1:1 interview with the VP. The 1:1 interview was alright and it lasted about 20-25 minutes. They said I would be notified in a week about an offer, as they were interviewing other candidates.
