      I Have applied through Linkedin for QA lead possition for selenium python. I got an email asking to send my updated CV on Feb 26 which i have sent immediately. later I got an email to complete mental Agility test on same day feb 26 which i have completed. Next email i received on March 2nd stating that I have successfully completed the assignment and to share my availability for a 30 min screeening round. Screening round: I was asked about my self and the number of teams i have handled. and type of work, the roles and responsibilities of my day to day work thats it and asked me whether i had any questions . I asked about the company which he explained and i put some questions like how many employees are there in your company. for that he told there are 3 QA and 2 support engineers and about the developers he dont know. Then I asked what is the total strength of the company, then he told 12(surprising. out of 12 employees, 3 were QA and 2 were support engineers and he did not know the remaining count). Then he told I will forward your resume to management for further process. next email i received on March 3 stating and assesment Email: I’ve had a chance to debrief our screener call with the team, and based on the feedback, we’d like to move you forward to the next steps — congratulations! The next step is a take‑home technical assessment, and the instructions are included in the attached file. The task typically takes approximately 3–4 hours to complete. Would it be possible for you to submit the completed assessment by EOD on Wednesday? We have a few shortlisted candidates for this role, and getting your submission in by then will help us review it promptly and progress you to the final stages by end of this week, provided the output looks strong. Here is the tricky and interesting part. This assessment does not look like an assessment. it looked like the current employees were not able to write code for automation and they want me to write that. Assessment details : Task 1: Task 1: Secure Login Automation A dummy login page has been provided. Requirements: • Automate the login process with valid and invalid credentials. • Capture logs/screenshots when authentication fails • Write an automation script that intelligently interacts with CAPTCHA challenges and MFA (not bypasses them). • Check if unexpected, automated requests trigger bot-detection responses (like temporary access denial) Task 2: XSS & Input Validation Testing The login form has input fields that are prone to potential vulnerabilities. Requirements: • Write test cases to inject malicious scripts and verify if they are blocked. • Implement assertions to check if special characters are sanitized properly. • Ensure error messages are consistent and descriptive without revealing security details. Task 3: Session Management Validation An authenticated user should have secure session handling. Requirements: • Automate a flow where the user logs in, logs out, and tries to reuse the old session token (should be rejected). • Simulate multiple active sessions and check if redundant tokens are invalidated properly. • Validate that Secure and HttpOnly flags are set in cookies. I have completed that assessment and emailed them the link of my code on the same day. Till now there is no reply from them. After doing that kind of assessment generally we will expect an email stating we will review the code and get back to you, nothing from their side. Till now there is no reply from them. After a week I have seen the company profile on linked in now they have posted the job again for playright experience
