People seemed nice and I enjoyed my interview experience and I would consider an offer if it was not for the uncertainty with them merging with another company and the possibility of layoffs and cut backs.

You haven't fully formulated a testing procedure that would confirm the products safety in the field, but during preliminary testing you find a few significant specification failures. Do you record these results for the FDA to review or do you leave them out because of their negative connotation?
