Applied on Linkedin and was scheduled for an in-person interview two days later, without a phone screen. Initial interview was a positive one on one experience, their office followed up that evening to schedule a follow-up interview 2 days later. The atmosphere for the next interview was entirely different. The office 'waiting area' was overflowing with interviewees. I was taken with another candidate to the McDonalds across the street to interview with a single Opulent associate. The interview consisted of myself and the other candidate being asked the same question, often being expected to compete against each other with our answers. Any HR professional can tell you that is never allowed. I completed a short questionnaire after the interview that consisted partially of information covered in the interview, but also of random direct marketing information. After the questionnaire, I was taken to meet with the person that conducted my first interview. I declined their employment offer.
