My resume was shortlisted for python selenium automation and got call letter for interview on Saturday. I went for interview and was present before 30m for interview. It was drive, many people were present with different skillset. First round was coding written, in paper it was written write program in java or typescript. I went and asked hr, my profile is python. They enquired and told to write in any launguange doesnot matter they are looking for automation test skill. I clearly asked what if I get select in first round, will they really consider me as I am python automation profile. They told they are not specific with launguange. I cleared first round of written test. Second round of technical round, cleared. And they told me to wait for third round of technical at 4. In third round, I have answered well on all related to my profile and CV. But he was asking more on java script, have you used some other tools.....And hr told I didn't shortlist for next round. It's clearly mentioned everything in CV, if they want only JavaScript with other tools, why to waste others time. Should be careful in shortlisting profile. Pathetic experience and waste of time. Only 2 members were left until last round one me and another guy for this profile. They didn't select anyone with junk reason of skill set mismatch which they should screen before shortlisting the profile. Felt like they were interviewing for name sake
