I was unsure during the phone interview, because I could tell I was on speaker phone with the HR person. The HR person never told me I was on speaker phone. This person seemed cold, distant and working through a list of questions. Maybe someone else was listening too and that was why I was on speaker. Company does not have a remote work policy. So I let them know I was not a good fit for the position any longer and ended the interview. The person I spoke with left a bad taste in my mouth too.
