I had an initial call with Heidi regarding a recruiter position, during which she indicated she would follow up. After not hearing back, I reached out and was told I was still under consideration. Despite multiple subsequent follow-ups, I have not received any response months later. Given that this role is within the recruiting function, the lack of communication left a disappointing impression of the recruitment process. As a recruiter myself, I make it a priority to follow up with candidates, as timely and transparent communication reflects directly on the company and the candidate experience. A rejection is better than no response at all.
