First a call over the phone with the hiring manager, then face to face with the hiring manager. He didn't take any notes or ask for visible examples. Unfortunately they depend on crickets to let you know you didn't get the job. No call back, no nothing. It felt like an exciting job but was a little underwhelmed by the recruiters follow through.
