Graduate interview for the Sydney office in Australia.
Completed Hirevue interview:
Six behavioural questions,
One attempt per question (no re-tries),
One minute to prepare per question,
2-3 minutes to answer per question.
Very stock standard behavioural questions, similar to Big 4 video interviews

Question 1
What have you done to remain effective & motivated throughout the pandemic?
1–2 case interviews with consultants. Each interview included:
A short fit/behavioral section
One interviewer-led case
Cases were strategy-focused and less formulaic than MBB. Emphasis on structured thinking, prioritization, and clear communication rather than memorized frameworks. Some quantitative analysis but more judgment-based.

They consistently focused on why Oliver Wyman specifically, and pushed beyond a generic consulting answer.

Entretien
Testing is relatively more difficult than other firms. Interview process of 30 min case interview and 30 min Cv interview. The problem I was given in the case interview involved car insurance and reinsurance, it was difficult to construct a framework around it, which was ultimately the reason given for me not progressing further.
