I don't remember how long it took to get the first phone call about the interview but it wasn't long. When I arrived at the interview, it was myself along with 7 others for an "audition". The manager took us all the back of the store and sat us in a group. We went around in a circle introducing ourselves by saying our names, age, and some things about us. Then she told us briefly some history about Old Navy and asked us if we knew the answers to some of the facts. Which I had prepared for using glassdoor before hand. So it looks better when you know some facts about the company. She then went around asking us basic interview questions, each person had the same question. After she made us pick a question out of a hat. Mine was "if you were deserted on an island, what 3 things would you bring?". Towards the end, she asked each of us why would we be a good candidate for Old Navy, so basically selling yourself to her. That was pretty much it. All in all, it was a fun and light hearted interview. It didn't even feel like an interview because of how comfortable and personable she was. Had it been someone with no sense of humor and makes things awkward, it would've been a lot different.

Scenario: "it's Black Friday, the store is busy and a mess. You have the duty of fixing the jeans but you have to welcome the customers coming in AND there's people trying to shoplift in because of it being hectic. How would you handle the situation?"

Group interview, almost like a game with dice used to answer questions. Each person had to share what they thought and take turns. Pleasant interview process, very casual. Some applicants wore jeans

Question 1
What's something you think will come back in fashion?
Most of the interview was basic and what you would expect, but they did include a portion where you pretend to help customers looking for outfits/items for specific occasions and that makes it fun!

Applied online. I waited about 3 days then called them. Manager asked me to come in for an interview. They told me to bring an item that represents me.
