first I got a call from a very enthusiastic person who told me how excellent and how impressive my resume was. then told me about the schedule they work if i ever end up in logistics or on the sales floor and if i could do both. asked me; why old navy? and if there was anything i did that i had to step up and become a leader.. then told me she'll call me back the next day to tell me when I can come in for a group interview. called me the next day just told me the date and time to come bring an important thing and wear something that i would go to work in. During the group interview there were 4 of us and 2 of them. she just asked us an ice breaker question and then we proceeded to the floor where in we did an activity to look for the items in the store and tell them what it signifies.. the second one was to look for an outfit.. we were given different situations. after that we played a tissue game and then told facts about ourselves depending on how many pieces of tissue we got.. and lastly we talked about the thing they asked us to bring that was important to us. they kept saying how good and awesome or perfect every time their questions were answered or asked to do something and seemed like they were very pleased. i volunteered to talk first and talked when asked and asked questions. i really thought i did a good job. but... i came home and got the email that i wasn't qualified/selected for the position. i felt that everything they were saying or doing wasn't at all genuine because they made you feel like hey you're doing a great!. it was misleading and felt like it was a complete waste of time. oh well.

Question 1
i guess when we were asked to look for random things and were asked to tell them what it signifies... you gotta know a little bit about the store but it was really easy.

I applied online and received a phone call within 2 days. I was asked about 5 questions after being detailed about the job. Questions were to see if I were a match of what they are looking for. I then was invited to a "audition" as they do not have a formal hiring process. The audition took place 2 days after the phone interview. We were asked to bring in an item that we are passionate about. The audition consisted of 6 other people. They're were a few ice-breaker games to show them your communication skills, and group work. The final task was to roll a dice that had an item in the store, you then had to locate it, select another item, and than had to sell it to the interviewers. After the "audition" they inform you that you will receive a phone call within 2 days if they want you to move forward in the hiring process and to come in for a more formal on-on-one interview with the store manager. It were basic questions about prior job experience, your job expectations, and job conflict resolution. Then I was told that they would contact me within 2 days later if there were a job offer.
