Very long and tedious interview process. Lasted for several (4+) months with many interviews. If you ever say you're not in a hurry they will just drag you forever. Feedback was also very slow, taking over a month to respond regarding step results.
The final step is a flight to they HQ where you do a "pair programming" and maybe some more interviews. The "pair programming" was disastrous as it was expected I should follow their implicit development methodologies and questions weren't answered directly. An example question that I'd ask would be:
- Do you want me to write a better test for this function or should I move one to the next task?
And the answer would be:
- You can choose
The problem is that the choice will impact their final decision even though you just want clarification regarding what they want you to show them given the time constraint: a better unit test or more problem solving. You can't do both and if you pick the wrong one too many times they will decline you.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Modify of the project they initially sent to accommodate one out of two or three new features they are proposing (you can pick).
Codesignal round with some DSA / OOP is the first pre screening, Each question is in increasing difficulty, there are 4 questions. It is important to manage time as there is just 90 minutes to complete the task, ran out of time and was not able to even start the 4th problem.

The interview process took around 2 months. I was provided with comprehensive steps before each round that was very helpful during the process. However, I felt the overall duration of interview process was time-consuming.
First round was an online coding round, second was a system design and third was pair programming. The expectations were very contradictory - you are required to execute independently in a pair programming round and still get rejected for not pair programming and executing independently.
They wouldn't give you enough time to think and keep asking you to think out loud. Some people like to think before saying their idea out loud thus the instructions and expectations don't align well.
