I went through several rounds of interviewing different members of the clinical research team at the UVA cancer center over the course of 4-6 weeks. The interviews themselves were pretty standard. The difficulty through the application process was that they were not very responsive to email communication and exceeded past their own deadlines they set for when I would hear back from them. This was annoying because I was just left sitting on other job offers when I could have moved forward with these other opportunities if UVA had communicated with me and kept to their own deadlines.
