The process is very elementary. The Northwestern Mutual is anxious for warm bodies. The process consists of simplistic online personality testing and a mild background examination (state sanctioned) so you can sell life insurance. The oral interviews are very simple; managers will hire most if they can pass the online exam.

There were four or five interviews, if you count the meeting with my future mentor. There were also a few personality assessments. Lots of paperwork. The finance industry is tightly regulated.
